Adam Barrett Zuchowski, BS

Graduate Researcher

I am a graduate student in the Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering pursuing my PhD. I graduated from the Patrick Leahy Honors College at the University of Vermont (UVM) with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and minors in Computer Science and Mathematics. At UVM I engaged in research focusing on mRNA delivery and lipid nanoparticle vaccines. I have also spent time at the National Institutes of Health studying naturally-derived chemotherapeutics and their impacts on cellular respiration. Here at Cornell, my research is focused on understanding the roles that specific immune cells play in various clinical phenomena including organ transplantation. When I'm not in the lab, I enjoy hiking and skiing, as well as doing origami and playing board games.
